Discovering Art Through Questions

Have you ever stood in front of a piece of artwork and pondered what story it tells? To really gain an understanding of art you need to look, question, and relate to the art. Here is a great piece by Andrew Wyeth that makes me do just that. Who is the man? What is he looking at? What is behind the open door in the far left? Where is this place? What are the signifigance of the windows? The more you question, the more you force yourself to look. I am not going to tell you about this piece. YOU tell me. Make up a story.
