Ever feel like the world is working against you? Can't seem to get anything done?
Well, this week the universe spoke to me and told me to slow down. After a successful opening of my studio and the completion of an artist residency, the universe told me I needed a break. Last week, I had a car accident, totaled my car and broke the pinkie on my right hand. After a doctor evaluation and surgery, I am now in a half-cast for several weeks. Needless to say, little art is being done.
Is this bad? No. It's the universe telling me to slow down and take time for my soul and contemplation. So, today I sit and watch the birds, pet my dogs on my lap, and work on my website. Life is funny like that; it ebbs and flows— as well does creativity. The universe is forcing me to embrace it. :)
